Fit the sensor in the blanking plate in cylinder no.3. You need an m18x1.5 to whatever thread your sensor is.

Then run the cables into the car and fit the gauge.

Pretty sure from when I done mine iirc the oil temp goes to blank for cylinder 3 and oil pressure tee'd off existing pressure switch under the alternator

Please DON'T do this:

The tappings above cylinder 3 are for oil TEMPERATURE, not PRESSURE.

Depending on the sender, if it will physically fit, the pressure sender goes where the oil pressure warning light switch goes.
You can then either put that on a shelf, as it's pretty much useless anyway, or use a remote sender fitting like this:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Oil-Pressu...item33a9cda4a9

It allows you to have the old oil pressure warning light too, if you so wish.

Sigh..he won't BE taking it out if he bothers to read this thread properly.

And they DO come out with the right tools...you can't get 'em out with a set of ebay allen keys, that's true, but the same is true for most jobs....use the right tools.
