Oh sorry I had it as one side plus bumper bars sorry,it would be around 350 then I'd say
If that job was done through the garage with prep after to make a seamless repair plus etch/stone guard etc it would be around 550+VAT.
Obviously without seeing what was entailed in the bumper bar work it's just a guide price.

It's a seamless repair aswell all smoothed as me personally hate the bumpy un-even finish plus my name goes with the job.
Bumper bar was a new section of box with tabs drilled and welded to fit original mounts then a couple of bumper brackets to hold corners up and in place.

Yeah im a welder by trade. The bloke who's truck it is was getting quotes like 700+ for the work at local garages. He had it repaired a couple years ago. If anything it made it worse all the rot was just plated over with a few spots to hold the plates on.

That sounds cheap to me, so far £1200 and £850 cash job with stickers on for the company is what I've had which is expensive in my mind. Its quite a lot of work and I've seen another cheap job where the rust came back so I'd want proof it was all done and rust proofed

All the places round here cost a fortune for welding. A friend had his xr2i inner wheel arch repaired at a garage not body shop. cost £375 then the bloke had the cheek to say it will probably need replacing again next year. When I checked it was just another inner arch welded up over the old one
