Hello, well known green WRX Bug?
Hello,
Just thought I'd say hello and post a couple of pics.
Reference the following thread.
https://www.scoobynet.com/subaru-444...-f-tuning.html
Well I am the owner of Andy's (andythejock01wrx) older green wrx. I've recently found out about Andy's unfortunate tragic accident and thought i'd post a couple of pics of the car.
Since I bought the car from Andy it's had the following done to it. All new parts fitted by Brian Downie, Kemnay
8 Pot brake Kit with all round upgraded discs and pads.
New rear sti shocks
Anti-lift kit
Upgraded front ARB
New wheels (refurbished)
Geometry set for fast road/track
Full Service
New front wheel bearings. (Due to trackday and the bug not liking large kerbs too much)
New A.F sensor
The car is still running beautifully at the moment and now loves Knockhill. I'm sure I saw it wink at me when we approach the circuit.
Ms Jock, if you see this I hope you like the pics and be assured I'm looking after your old 'bug'. Hope you like the new wheels, the dark grey suits the car I think

And a wee Photo of my SMRC XR2 race car. I know the bodywork needs a bit of work, but hey that's what gaffer tape was invented for right?

Still looking great. Andy was one of my best mates. I remember driving it when Andy had it mapped and it was so much fun. He would have been pleased it went to someone who can appreciate it. He always looked after his cars in an almost obsessive way. Glad you are having so much fun in it:
