Hi All,

I'm interested in some Bug / Blob STI wheels that i've seen, which need a refurb.

I spoke to a well known wheel shop, and they said they can refurb the wheels, and not to worry, about buckles, because the Bug and Blob STI wheels are so strong that they don't buckle.

Can any anyone else confirm this?

Or has anyone else had a set of Bug / blob wheels that have buckled?

 

I've got 2 that both have slight buckle on the inside which balances out, I only use these for my drift stuff so never bothered me, I've got two that sustained a good impact into the barrier at Combe and survived much better that I ever expected. All on a widetrack

If the wheels are very strong and slight buckles can be balanced out, i think i'll go ahewad and get these wheels then refurb them.

There is almost nothing more annoying than driving a car with buckles in the wheels!!

Although, i'm not really convinced a refurb shop can fix buckles. But we will wait and see.
