Iam after a few sheets of ally,2mm thick,6+4 or 6+3 anyone deal in it on here?

i have been looking also i found some on ebay for a fair price 8x4 sheet £30 ish i was going to make a rear difusser but didnt no how thick to get any idears

2,2.5 mm mate will be ok,though does depend how you are making the defuser?

Thanks for that i was thinking to bend the outer sides so its in 1 piece and pop rivet the fin's

its for a classic the one in the picture im going to cut out the boot floor and the petrol tank and fit an in boot set up still thinking to buy a 2 door shell though and swap it all over mad or not i dont no just like the look

Iam just in the prosess doing mine,just cut the boot out,took me 10 minutes with a power hacksaw

i read that thread the other day looks good ill go over it again tomorrow why did you choose a dash doger cage ?? i think that for every bend in the tube theres a weak point ?? i might be right or wrong only thing is you might never no hopefull but if you do find out its could be to late

Think one i used was 1.2mm thick for floor.

It isnt a dash dodger cage, it goes behind the dash, like a weldin cage does, and has the same bends as a weld in cage. Its FIA certified.

do a search on sheetmetal companies in your area far cheaper to buy off cuts from them and they will be able to cut it to the sizes you need and 2.5mm is way over the top i would say 2mm max
