Hi guys,

Have one of the Japspeed alli radiators for the last year, all fine, except the drain plug has started to leak. The seal is rubber (and clearly perished) and the plug itself is plastic.

So, would anyone by chance know the size and thread so i can source a metal replacement and suitable sealing ring (something more durable) and do a quick changeover to avoid losing all the coolant. Also any suggestions on where to source a more durable rubber seal?

And if you have one of these rads fitted to your Impreza, please have a quick check to see if yours is leaking. I only noticed it leaking by chance, but if it had let go while driving it could easily have overheated and caused all sorts of damage.
