Classics are disappearing as nobody seems to want them anymore. Therefore, more ECUs are coming onto the market. Prices will fall unfortunately due to supply and demand. There are also better options for ECUs now, although they cost more.

They are a great ecu but only up to a certain hp then when you get to that point an up grade is what you need i just think thats a few people are up grading for more hp or it might be im thinking of upgrading so the price will fall till i sell for peanuts then they will go up again

Many sellers have had them and their cars for years - you buy an ECu for a specific state of tune, then when you have funds/desire to go to another level you sell up and buy higher spec parts.

Nothing wrong with the Apexi and a perectly capable ECU

You hit the nail on the head. Mine is currently for sale as well. Only due to my 500bhp per tonne project which i feel needs a more complicated ECU that monitors various possible failure points that the Apexi can not.

Apexi is a brilliant ECU did everything I ever wanted it to do.

Mines for sale as i am looking to increase BHP and i wanted Anti Lag an launch control. What is great about the Apex is the commander handset and all the data that it gives you with engine parameters, recording features, boost control etc. Shame the SIMTEK doesn't have one..
