Yokohoma Parada Tyres
Guys
I had four fitted today - what the hell are these things? I asked for 4 good tyres ... which I hope theses are?
They are so strange, like there is hardly any thread and only one line around tyre - whats all that about?
I hope they will last the motorway milliage of the Prelli Zero's otherwise im not going to be happy!
Whats your reviews on them? Maybe thinking I should of put on Prelli's again as they had aload more thread lines on them.

I have always run toyo t1r's and think they are the dogs. But recently bought a set of alloys that came with parada's and cant believe how much of a lack of grip there is when your on the edge. I'd always been told these were good tyres but nearly smashed the car into a kurb when they didn't give the grip needed when hard cornering. They will be on eBay next week

I have them fitted currently to my 18's on my 06 wrx. Great tyre in my opinion. Fantastic grip in the dry, not as good as some others in the wet.
My opinion, just dont drive as fast in the wet! Sorted!
p.s. Did I see your car parked in Tring road Tesco's Aylesbury recently?

I drive my car like I stole it in dry/wet with these tyres. Honestly don’t have a problem, they stick like poop to a blanket!
Not great in the snow though. My previous budget set would drive up a snow covered mountain, but found these having problems on the flat due to lack of treads.
Don’t worry, really are fine!

Sorry to hear you're not happy with the Parada's. They don't seem to get the better reviews, certainly compared to other Yoko's which do - namely AD08's or 888's. As mentioned dry performance seems good, but wet falls short
I've no experience with the Parada's but have with the other two mentioned which are excellent. Have tried the AD08's on the Type R (Scooby) & Type R (Integra).
(T1R's which I have also tried are a very much a budget performance tyre)
Good luck with getting things sorted out. Let us know how you get on
