How can you tell if an impreza is a ringer ?

I have done the obvious and HPI checked the car and it came back all good.

The car flew threw its MOT and no probs Taxing it .

Where abouts are the vin no,s chassis no , engine no ect ?

Ive known the car for the last year And one of my mates has told me its a ringer . Would like to check for myself

Interesting page that SiV6Si.

Think i'll double check mine so it'll be easier to order parts if I need to use the main stealer.

but if its been done "properly" as the major car thieves do then it will have all of its correct ID markers and chassis numbers so by the very purpose of it (which is to rip you off and make money for them) it will be hard to spot unfortunately

remember that HPi and the likes only tell you information about that particular number plate - it doesn't/cant tell you the car bearing them is the "real" one
