i have a 2001 uk300 with the 2003 engine pushing 360bhp,
i raced my mates skyline last night and beat him till 80mph, after this point he slowly an i mean slowly moved away from me, he is pushing 500bhp
now at this point i need more power or to go lighter without loosing luxuries,

now will my engine take more with a new turbo and injectors or do i swap the engine??

what standerd impreza engine any cc will take the most bhp?

i no i will have to change the gearbox...

what is my next step,,,, help

That is the only snag when you start tunning you always want more. I had my Bugeye STi running 360 bhp on GEMS ECU, FMIC, uprated fuel pump, Tubular manifold, induction kit and APS 3 inch exhaust Brakes and suspension also uprated as parts required. In 2008 I found my turbo was getting tired so after some reaserch and discussion I opted for the FP Green turbo from Scoobymania. I also fitted 650cc injectors, the APS parallel fuel rail kit, an Aeromotive FPR, inlet manifold spacers and APS turbo intake pipe. Once mapped that took me to 400 bhp. Late last year I found two of the brackets on my exhaust pipe had snapped so upgraded my exhaust to a APS 3.5 ich de-cat so once it was mapped that took it to 416 bhp as my mapper would not go any further as the car was at 97K miles. So next step will be a rebuild and take it to @ 500 bhp. Then what who knows....

the skyline is alot heavyr than mine, it was rolling roaded same day as mine so is genuin, he was killing it pall, he knows how to drive as hes owned numerous jap cars several being skylines...

Based on an R34 GTR, you are still way behind on power to weight. What skyline is it?
Back to the origional question - if you have £££ then RCM is the way forward

r32 gtr, its only a lil bit faster than mine m8, but i beat my mates porsche 911 turbo to about 70mph an thats 500bhp, porsche is alot faster top end than the gtr tho, after the 70mhp mark its like a rocket...

ill give rcm a bell tomorrow i think,,,,, need more power...

My last bill at RCMS was for £12 grand LOL

Modding the bugeye WRX for big power is a real money pit ...... if you want a scooby to mod then look at the Hawkeye Spec C's
