Simple things like lack of side repeaters, number plates (with lights) and the parachute I would have thought would make it difficult to get an MOT, so I'd assumed it was a dedicated track/strip machine

its all covered but parachute is removable side repeters only have to work if fitted there not fitted so cannot fail on them..rear number plate has its own removable bracket with working lights front plate will be on the bumper or bonnet not decided on that yet as still work to do but very minor its built to pass our mot just the same as most others on here but like i say its a track machine at heart road use will be minimal but still good to be legal

I thought side repeaters had to be fitted - wish I'd known that before my respray
Stick-on number plates seem to be more frowned upon these days because of the BS markings and so on, suppose that depends upon how meticulous your tester is

no if there fitted but dont work its a fail if there not fitted at all then they cannot fail it as for the plate the last breaker we had in had a stick on plate on the bonnet i drove it around for 5days with out any bother but im not a massive fan of them id like a ridgit one with a proper bracket again removable for the track but thats very minor the car still needs alot of work to get done yet so think if i decide to keep this bonnet or change il sort that at the end

Looks awesome in that new colour Matt, Really has come on a long way since I last saw it!!! To be fair I would not expect anything less, You have always had mad projects from your Renault 5 GT to this,. Cant wait to see this ripping up the tarmac!!!!!
