Default MY PROJECT UPDATE (picture heavy)

ok well its been a while since posting anything on here so thought id share what we been up to for a while my project car has been worked on constantly for nearly 2years now and its finally on the final build after a whole new out look and purpose for the car and a massive rethink for me iv re done basically the whole thing again fromt full repaint in the new colour and new full specced cage space framded front end custom wiring looms parachute added full dry sump and many many other trick things i simply couldnt list them all but this is how it looks so far

cheers bez im hoping a couple months till its up and running then you know how it is prob spend the rest of the year getting it set up and driving and handling how i want and getting used to it im hoping to enter the sprint series next year with you to mate i think il be in the same class with you so be good to get it set up ready

lagamorph its gotta go black im not a fan of silver coolers hoping to get a custom grill made tho so may leave it silver if i can do that tho

jon why wont it be road legal?it will be not that il be usingt it all that much on the road tho as not sure it drive that nice in traffic and under bracketry is a pain but needs must

Simple things like lack of side repeaters, number plates (with lights) and the parachute I would have thought would make it difficult to get an MOT, so I'd assumed it was a dedicated track/strip machine

its all covered but parachute is removable side repeters only have to work if fitted there not fitted so cannot fail on them..rear number plate has its own removable bracket with working lights front plate will be on the bumper or bonnet not decided on that yet as still work to do but very minor its built to pass our mot just the same as most others on here but like i say its a track machine at heart road use will be minimal but still good to be legal

I thought side repeaters had to be fitted - wish I'd known that before my respray

Stick-on number plates seem to be more frowned upon these days because of the BS markings and so on, suppose that depends upon how meticulous your tester is

no if there fitted but dont work its a fail if there not fitted at all then they cannot fail it as for the plate the last breaker we had in had a stick on plate on the bonnet i drove it around for 5days with out any bother but im not a massive fan of them id like a ridgit one with a proper bracket again removable for the track but thats very minor the car still needs alot of work to get done yet so think if i decide to keep this bonnet or change il sort that at the end

bengo cheers also mate i hope to get a trick camera set up on the car for some action vids but not sure if il be turning them on the first few times in case i bin it or cry not sure what its going to be like when on full power so we see

Looks nice for a 2.0 sport mate oj looking stunning serious work and money has gone into this after seeing it in the flesh pictures do not do it any justice I can't wait to see it go keep it up matey

Looks awesome in that new colour Matt, Really has come on a long way since I last saw it!!! To be fair I would not expect anything less, You have always had mad projects from your Renault 5 GT to this,. Cant wait to see this ripping up the tarmac!!!!!
