Default Vpower Fuel in Ireland Dublin and Kilkenny

Going to Ireland for two days next week my car has two maps one vpower and one vpower and meth, not going to be giving it the beans however is there shel vpower 99 out there. If there isn't I'm going to have to get my car mapped again on lower fuel grade. And is there a lot of shells or is there only a few?

Thank you all in advance

I was told by an Irishman that they only had 95RON. This was a couple of years ago and things might have changed, but I wouldnt rely on that.

Hi, I did some searching as im going for a week in ireland soon and this is what has been said on other forums....

IRISHMAN SAID THIS.....

every garage in the country now only sell 95 ron fuel except maxol with there E5 stuff which is 99 ron as stated above.

E5 will suit all jap imports as their petrol is 100 ron over there as standard, and M3's are designed to run on 97 ron so it will suit them too

Hope this helps in some way????

Irelands best fuel is 97 octane and thats only at a few petrol stations, no V-power here,
a few people when coming over use octane booster for a few weeks as its cheaper then getting a remap whenever they want to come over

Southern Ireland is only 95.

Best you'll get in Northern Ireland is 97

Man that's bad news I would rather be safe and get it mapped on 95 ron. As I'm not to keen or comfortable in using octane booster btw I'll be going to republic of Ireland

Home - Maxol Group - Fuel For All Engines. Maxol is Ireland's leading independent oil company - check the list of petrol stations.

Some of them also sell e85 - in case that could help you, small ratio mix with petrol.

southern ireland has E5 which is very similar to shell vpower.

Northern ireland has 97ron in most places..

take some booster and watch the knock warning light.
