idealy what you want is as follows.....
1.td05 16g turbo around 150-300 pounds
2.walboro fuel pump 70-100pounds
3.full decat how ever much ya want to spend prob looking at 500 full system
4.uprated intercooler sti 70-150 ebay
5.panel filter
6.this is very important a full remap when all mods been done 600-1000 pounds
7.3 port boost solenoid
this is basic stuff to do too get ya power up but anything over 350bhp ya looking at 1000s hope that helps mate

to be honest what with insurance costs and the endless supply of petrol i seem to need lol im going to spend much, i might try and take it upto 300bhp but its a high mileage engine, its been well looked after through its life no expense spared, i got it for peanuts and dont want to ruin it before the novelty has warn off its been 3 months and im still having fun so i might wait to mod it as my pockets are pretty empty at the mo

If you have a MY98 car then your a little screwed as you picked one of the 2 years that you can't map the ecu
Your best bet for tuning is a full decat and a filter, then add a knock sensor like a ks3 (google it ) to see what your engine is doing
