Default newbie

Hi all, right I have just found a nice 95 plate Impreza for sale and am looking for insurance, now the 1st 2 quotes I have had are really naff....can anyone recommend a good company to try... It isn't like I am a 17 year old, I am 37, 10 years no claims and no points (yet), the car only has a air filter kit, stainless exhaust and dump vale on it so it isn't even highly modded. and the prices I am getting are around the £1000 mark.. please help as I really really want the car.

Cheers all
Rich.

£1000!!!!
I'm 36 and pay £350 with mods protected NCB etc even when i had 6 points the insurance was waaaay cheaper than that.
When i bought the car 6½ years ago i was only paying £800 (first impreza)

Keith Michaels speak to Gary Moulson (Moley WRX on here) have a look in the Insurance section as well.
I'm with A plan via their Thatcham branch which is the only one that deals with imports.

That is expencive, considering your age and amount of years no claims you have!
i would think it would be around half of that or less
