Default How much is my 96 wrx ra worth?

I'm thinking about selling my ra to get a more sedate model or a turbo 2000 because i've got a new business venture coming up and I need something more "normal" to use day to day.

Trimetal competition big end bearings
Forged rods
Forged pistons
TD05 20g turbo
Ported and polished heads and new valves
Rebuilt and uprated oil pump
Full samco water and boost kit
FMIC (autobahn)
Turbosmart supersonic blow off valve
Simtek ecu (mapped to 350bhp by APi and a 280bhp low boost map as well)
Full 3" Japspeed exhaust from turbo back with 4" tip
Lightened flywheel
STi gear linkage
STi suspension
Speedline 17" magnesium 2010 alloys will good tyres
New engine with receipt from APi Warwick 3k miles ago
Exedy clutch
Bare-metal respray in white (originally white) with receipt for 2k last year
STi front strut-brace

How much is it worth do you reckon, i've got over 11k in receipts for the last two years?

I was hoping 4.5k-5k?

And I don't want to break it, even if it is worth more in parts than in one piece.

I'll go £4k too. It's sounds to have a nice strong engine which is a big+ in the sale, but it's still 13 years old. £5k would be very optimistic as STi 4/5 can be had for that kind of money.

To be honest. It's worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it.
I don't want to burst any bubbles but ask youself this. Can someone get the same or better for that money?

This is it. If I had £4k, I'd be interested as it has a good amount of power from a strong engine rebuild. But it depends who wants to buy it, an enthusiast of the brand who see's 350bhp for £4k, or someone random who thinks it may be overpriced.

Good luck anywho.

I would say between 3200 - 3700 in today's market. i Don't see people willing to pay 4k for this car in this current market.

Do you have any dyno print outs? as if i was spending that much on a car i would want proof of what kind of power it's pushing.

This wrx went for 3.3k and it's no where near the same spec:
1995 SUBARU Impreza WRX STI RA WHITE (Turbo, Not Evo) on eBay (end time 01-Aug-09 15:18:46 BST)

And yes I have the two maps in the receipt folder

It will do 390 bhp on this turbo, but I didn't want get into that zone where I might potentially break the gearbox.

I can see why people might think it's worth less than 4k, but if people new what it takes in terms of cost and time to get a gc8 to this level and do it properly... they might reconsider.

Oh and it's done 99k km, so about 60k miles?

Lennard - cars on ebay allways go for alot more, thats because theres loads of f*ck abouts on there. Also theres alot of shillbidding, the dude who won that white sti has zero feedback, i think thats telling you somthing mate, he was probs bidding on his own car or its either a timewaster.

My brothers old crx 16v (non vtec) sold for 1600 on ebay last year (and it was only worth around 900) and gusse what.. nobody came to pick it up. So you can't really compare that ebay price with yours.

Also i still stand by the fact that it would be hard to find a buyer if your looking at 4 grand.

Most people on here are way too harsh when it comes to How Much Is My Car Worth!

Lennard - see what others are going for & pitch yours slightly above due to the money spent recently. You'll obviously not get your £11k back but £4.5k seems a bargain for the right buyer ie they want a WRX RA.

I waited 6 months for my Spec C to sell; it did sell for asking price though

TX.
