this is on a vauxhall forum about an astra.

converted from 1.8 and 125bhp to z20let turbo and 270bhp.
it has 18inch alloys lowered 60mm has vxr turbo and full stainless exhaust system front mounted intercooler and a cone filter.
it was remapped and made 252bhp at only 12 psi with a standard intercooler but most of it was behind the bumper but now it is getting more air to it as the cooler sits at the bottom of the bumper and the boost has been turned up to 18 psi.
The brakes are gsi front with standard sri rears but it has grooved dics all round with red stuff race pads all round too.
I can really annoy impreza drivers as my car is quicker off the line then them but they can corner better than me 1 P1 driver got pissed off at me that when he got in front of me he hit his brakes what a soar losser.

He's not going to be suffering the same transmission losses as he's running 2WD, so he'll see more of that power at the wheels. Honestly though, do we really care.

He won't have nay grip, he won't be able to stop and he can't spell

Ok he's still immature But...

Nout wrong with that really! My mate has the quickest Nova in the uk (By Santa pod times!)

It maybe a sh1tty rusty Vauxhall but they are quick as **** just after a few mods! and alot cheaper than Impreza's

I shall be at PV Show Santa pod with the vauxhall-sport-forum.com this year if anyone else is camping ?

Mine has gone up in value
And scary as it may seem, they stop better than any classic and new age WRX's

Throw enough money at any car and it can be faster than Impreza. Just depends on if your inclined or arsed enough to go about doing it.

Like I could send my R32 off to HGP in Germany and have them fit a 3.6 twin turbo conversion which is good for a claimed 640bhp.

But meh.....whats the point?

I hate people like that. I had a cav turbo running 282BHP and ate loads of cars. Fact of the matter is that it's down to the driver on the day..
