Default Is this the first RB5?

This for sale. Complete RB5 Spec - but without the badging!

Auto Trader UK - SUBARU IMPREZA Turbo 2000 4WD RB5 cheap pre 2001 road tax

Is it no 1 of 444 - An oddity a bit like the white test bed P1 perhaps?

What do you think

Text says "believed 1 of 444." To me that reads there were 444 produced and this is believed to be one of them. W plate is very late if it is a genuineb RB5. They were released in 1999.

Thanks guys - that all makes sense.

So seeing as it is a touch on the late side - perhaps it has just been made to look like a RB5!

Check the pictures

No RB5 on front wing, nothing on the rear, no stitching on seats (right colour?) and no RB5 Ltd Ed plate in front of the gear stick...

Thats why I thought it was very odd that it was an RB5.... because there was no badging anywhere!
