Default Has anyone had a re-map done by Mocom lately???

Wondered if they were happy with their £400 re-map.

Anyone out there?????

Zak is a top bloke, and its 400 quid well spent........

everyone that had it, did they just have the remap, or where they talked into the spark plugs and uprated fuel pump too?

I was going to have it done, but decided not too when the above items come to another £200.

Do they actually do a Hawkeye WRX map. Cant find one on the site

Might just be being useless at looking

When you say "talked into the spark plugs.............." I think maybe you are missing the point there? Uprated plugs (colder, eg PFR7B) and a higher capacity pump are common sense additions to a re-map package. There could be an element of risk to your engine without them.
600 quid is still cheap! I think Zak is being very responsible by ADVISING you regarding these.

You could always pick up the plugs and pump yourself and throw them on.. or if you're not too confident doing it yourself then ask a mechanically minded mate to do it for you in return for a few pints.
Would be a lot cheaper than £200 but I agree, its something that is recommended but is IMO essential when you're going to be raising the boost and re-mapping things.
