I found out a few months back that my MY98 had a Power Engineering re-map done to it by a previous owner and I've only just got round to getting it on the rollers.

I've added an induction kit and full (de-cat) zorst system so was hoping for a little more than the 260BHP that showed on the dyno. I was also disappointed to learn the re-map still caps the boost at 1 bar dispite my Autometer gauge reading 1.2 bar.

Anyway I want to be able to run higher boost for one off's like group rolling road sessions (next month ) and quarter mile runs (the month after )

I was told that because of my re-map I would be able to add more boost and the ecu would still fuel comfortably so I've now got a Dawes on its way to me.

The question is how high should/can I go?

I don't wanna know when it'll go bang or anything cos I'm well aware it could go anytime, and I don't wanna hear words like reliable (cos its only for the odd blat) or sensible ( cos I ain't)

Many thanks

Ask the people that mapped it. No one else can answer a question like that unless they check the car over or remap it again for you.

many thatnks. I spoke to them a while ago, before I really knew much about it all, so I never really understood what they were telling me.

I've tried ringing again but they must be shut for xmas.

Dawes is on its way so we'll just have to see what the lambda reading are as it goes up
