it looks better than a focus pal! i love the front end of it.. just cant get used to the hatch... if that front was on the salloon it would be the bollocks!

Well, im not too keen on the back, it looks very cheap and plasticy. But if the ability of the focus and other hatches in the World Rally is anything to go by, Subaru may be competative again.

Its still an over all design disapointment for me though.

I like it. It's about time they sorted a hatch for the WRC, they're one of the last to do so.

Seems sensible to me, the focus is stuffing everything in the WRC so if you can't beat em join em, Subaru bought a job lot of focuses painted em blue and hoped nobody would notice

road version will not have anything like that with flared arches, spoiler etc.. it'll still look like a 3 month old chimp has designed it..

For Christ sake, when are some people going to lighten up with all this abuse of the new Impreza?

Lets face it, we are not really buying the Impreza for its looks are we? Because even though some us may like look of the Impreza, for the majority of people it his a hideous looking car. Big spoiler, bonnet scoop. Not exactly on every persons tick list is it? But WE buy them mainly because of one thing, the way they DRIVE. And when we you start to fall in love with something drives, you then start to forgive it looks and find beauty amongst the gold wheels, picnic table spoiler and the 'pig snout' on the bonnet, as my dear mother puts it.

I for one like it. I've liked the new Impreza from the start and I'm sure some of you will as soon as you've had a chance to appreciate it for yourselves; in person!

It does not look like an impreza its a hatch back how on earth can you expect avid supporters of the wrx impreza saloon to like it ?

i agree with MrRA bugeyes were never the best looking cars ever but i'd have one if i had to cos its still an impreza same with the slightly unpopular looks of the evo7

looking at the wrc 08 i like the way the lines flow from front bumper up and over the wheel arches change the rear lights sorted
still think they should do a front wheel drive one if they want to compete with the foci, astra,golf type cars

you dont look at the mantle piece while stoking the fire....
