I drive a nicely modded Sport and I'm beginning to think that the majority of Impreza Turbo owners actually look down there noses at the normally aspirated Impreza!! I must look like a right one waving at some Impreza's from the looks that I get back...c'mon give the wee Sport a break! Afterall, all Impreza's are equal, some more than others!!!! Cheerio all.

I agree with you mate... but I would seeing as I drive one too!!!
I always wave at other scoobs, but occasionally I don't get a response. Am I just being paranoid or does this happen to you turbo boys too?

It doesn't just apply to your sports. My 94 WRX seems to get the other scoob owners either glancing her up and down with nose in the air or they just ignore my presence completly! This only happens where I live in farham. All the scooby owners that I have come across in Farnham are really unfreindly! Even barge their way past me through traffic instead of letting me merge in as the road markings dictate. Gits. Have to be honest mate, most of the 'non-scoop' scoob drivers that I see around here I pay no attention to, as most of the drivers are in the over 80 club (hehe, sorry)

hi chaps
have a look at the grantham pics and grantham meets threads in the midlands meet section
see what we think of sport!!!
Never under est sport!
if you dont hit the right gear , its one hell of a job getting back up to one,
through twisty bits , not a great deal in it !
and you dont have to stand around for 5 min waiting for your turbo to cool down .
MY01 WRx ppp (ex turbo my98).
Dont worry we all get ignored at times,

Couldnt agree more with Ian Cook - seems that many scoob owners (especially more mature ones maybe??) just dont understand the waving bit - i toot/ flash and wave at most turbo scoobs I see - but am never sure wether to honk at sport owners - in case they think im nuts!!!
I even stopped for one the other evening that seemed to be lost near my house to see if he needed directions - it was a "slightly more mature" chap and his wife in a a late model turbo -- they seemed totally baffled that I would pull over to offer help just cause they had a scoob!

It works both ways though, I passed a silver sport on the M42 a week or so ago (actually he passed me in the inside lane, outside lane always seems slowest on M42) I looked over grinning and was going to wave but he just stared straight ahead. Some wave some don't. Maybe we need more scoobynet.co.uk stickers or something.
