Morning all ,
So a mature gentleman still going through a crisis just about sums me up , after hankering after a Subaru for some years (most spent in various celica gt4's ) I have just yesterday purchased an 03 plate Blob with an inferiority complex and thinks its an STI . loving the car so far , but 1850kg , really ? . I'm sure to ask all the usual newb questions knowing nothing about them...be warned..lol !

1850kg ? Think that's the total gross weigh, as in a full tank of fuel ,passengers and luggage.

Unladen a 2.0 Sti should be around 1440kg

Aha I'm hearing , but being a mature sensible driver of course I wouldn't dream of exceeding the limit .

Oh and yes that weight figure would make more sense...Doh ! Got me asking myself how much the RA weighed lol .

Thanks Ian and others for looking .
The 185's in particular were heavy beasts , I had a total of 4 in eleven years and apart from the import I bought with a fubared box I never had any other issues with any of them , a real labour of love to make quick mind .
