Petrol
Has anyone tried the new Super Ultimax ( BP), it's a 102Ron octane and is priced at £2.42 a litre . I've tried it today and it makes a lot of difference , it's so more responsive.

Read into the stuff when it was launched.....
The big gains can be had with tuned and remapped cars, so what you running?
Is it also true that you get it pumped for you and get a welcome pack??????

YEP, it's quite remarkable ... the mpg doubles so it's actually not bad value if you take that into account.
I also blew a heavily modified P1 into the weeds today too ...... he had no answer for my standard wagon with this stuff in it!!
It really is amazing and I would highly recomemnd it!

surely its cheaper to use tesco 99super + octane booster (making about 101), nearly as good + less than half the price! (you could always add 2 pots of booster + still be well cheaper. come to think of it, you could fill the tank with octane booster for about the same price!)
me thinks some people have more money than sense!

anyone who buys this stuff is just ****ing it up for the rest of us, the petrol company wil see muppets buying anything at any price, so will just keep on pumping the prices up, i know laot of it is tax yada yada boom etc but still, if people buy this stuff, soon petrol will go up to any price as they know muppets buy it as it makes my car go a little quicker, why not buy a faster car instead and be done with it ?

my car was mapped on optimax (98RON) and when I put +2 RON booster in it is noticeably more reponsive and stronger, particuarly at higher rpm's. Considering the booster I use is 3 quid a bottle that's only another 6p per litre or something for a noticeable gain each fill up - would recommend it.
If you've got a CAT in your car don't put more than the recommended amount of booster in it, 1 bottle per tank etc - not unless you want to ruin your CAT.

1/2 a tank ... it's not expensive if you factor in the massive increase in mpg!
Works out at around £1:20 .... and the extra power is simply mind blowing - even in a Standard car like mine!!
Saves on all those mickey mouse mods you lot do at a cost of £1000's!!!!!
Who are the mugs? The petrol buyers or the modding chavs??
Would a CockLink be any use using this stuff?? As its so high a rating theres no chance at all of det!!

The whole issue is utterly ridiculous - I've downgraded from Optimax for a while down to 95RON at 94.9p and getting around 31MPG - and still having some fun on the quieter B roads too.
