Default 2005 sti to E92 M3

Hi All

I'm kinda becoming quite keen on the e92 M3, was wondering if anyone has had experiences of driving the m3, I know it wont be as thrilling as the scoob but how do they feel, will petrol be similar to the Scooby although I know its a 4l V8.

Maiteinance costs I know will be extremely higher but was just just thinking if it worth the extra money.

i went from a hawk wrx runing about 390 to an e46 m3 and it felt as dull as dishwater by comparison.

The drive is very different, power delivery much more progressive so they just feel slow

Yeah but he said E92 M3 mate, not E46. The 2 are very different cars indeed!

Default e92

hi I had a e92 m3, lovely car. It was a bit too quiet for me so I got it sorted at evolve in luton. sports decat at front eissenham race exhaust at back and a remap. it sounded awesome roared like a stabbed lion. and had so much torque was lots of sideways fun go for it.
I got into a range rover sport khan edition from there. for speedy fun I have bought a very low mileage WR1.

How much did the mods n remap costs. Also how would you compare the petrol consumption compared to the scoob. I world out it was cost me 20 quid more the the scoob on my journey to work.

Default m3

hi look on web
evolveautomotive.com
cost was £2500 for remap and front cat delete exhaust.
I got the eissanem exhaust on ebay for £1000
remap made 45bhp and 30lb torque extra.
pricey but they are good totally changed it into a beast.
petrol around town 15 to 17 and on long motorways 25 mph.
ive got a video clip of my exhaust on youtube I think its list as
bmw m3 eissanem exhaust

£3500 for an exhaust and remap to unleash just 45bhp and a bit of noise

I know
im compulsive and got too much money
its a bad combination. I had a focus st and bought the mountune upgrade and sold it after a month.
when I traded the m3 in I sold the exhausts for £2000.
so it wasn't that bad.

For a 20k M3 you can buy 3 or 4 cars loll kinda thinking if its worth or just get another Scooby but they are just hard to find and there are so many m3's available.
