Well
If you are talking Mitisi GTO then depends on what type of scoob you have, I have a 1992 GTO TT with a few simple mods and in a straight line would be a match for my 03 sti PPP, when it came to the twisties the scoob would be much quicker..........
Still can't fault the looks of the GTO , real sexy

Then the Heatsoak issue .....................
................ and the fuel starvation issue if less than 2.675987665788342617354273 litres are in the tank and you drive around a bend at more than 32.88767867894637MPH
Don't you know that the ECU of the Mark 2354 software version 87.983452 means that the ECU is slow to recognise the vehicle being raced .....
Stick around .............. ScoobyNet will soon think up some more bull**** for you

As is ever the case the faster is the driver who is prepared to wring the last rev out of the engine and to "not bottle it" In real world terms which driver is the most willing to lose their licence. If you mean on track then take your car on one and try against whatever car you wish. Then you'll know

If the GTO is an automatic it would have to have two gearbox changes to the Scooby's one engine change. (got plenty of friends with experience of both cars)
It really does depend on the model. IIRC the standard STi was quicker 0-60 and 0-100 than all of the standard GTOs.
