Wots the point in the new UK300 wrx???
They had three of these in a dealership in Norwich I was passing last night. Only difference I could see was gold wheels, the gear **** and the badge. £20,500. Still got the peashooters on too. I suppose you can try to haggle, but there was nothing to suggest free PPP with these cars.

According to the Subaru Website :
Special Exterior Features
17" GOLD COLOUR ALLOY WHEELS
SUBARU WORLD RALLY TEAM BRANDED LAMP COVERS
EXCLUSIVE WRX300 BADGING ON FRONT WINGS AND REAR
Special Interior Features
BLUE ALCANTARA INTERIOR TRIM
SWRT BRANDED FRONT SEATS
CHROME EFFECT MOMO GEAR ****
SWRT BRANDED FLOOR MATS
RAC TRACKSTAR WITH ONE YEARS' FREE SUBSCRIPTION
Makes no mention of whether the Free PP applies or not, but I wouldn't see why not, you'd have to ask.
Seems to be very much like the original UK300. No extra performance but a load of styling changes which may or may not be to everyones taste.
It says alacantra seats, hopefully they are the more snuggly fitting sti seats rather that the extra wide standard wrx seats.

It is including PPP, if you look at the details at the spec it shows 265ps, and later on in the page it states 'performance quoted with PPP'......
This looks very similar to the Maltese SWRT limited edition which is 2k more than standard WRX (import)......whereas this is only 1k more

I believe that the car has been "registered" with the insurance database (or whatever the proper term is) such that the insurance is friendlier than a WRX PPP. So its the same situation as the WR1 being cheaper to insure than an STI PPP.

Yeh I can vouch for the insurance thing.
Bought a MY05 Sti PPP. could have got insured for a WR1 for £400 less.
Any excuse for a insurance company to rip you off even more
