yeah i think its better 2, you can feel it right away and it lasts a lot longer than any other fuel i have put it, you get so many more mile's but im guessing you have a new age like myself? cos peeps with classics dont like the stuff.

i have used this stuff when i was too low to make it to the nearest Shell garage and was impressed...

I have heard a nasty rumour from someone who works in a local Shell that the Optimax had been mixed with super unleaded in the tanks on purpose and they advised me to go to a different shell to get my optimax...

Dont know how true it is but worth thinking about if you aint getting the expected performance from your Optimax

I am no expert but that does not add up.

Ultimate is 97ron.

Optimax is (avg) 98.2ron.

Not saying the car does not drive better etc but cant see the logic.

I`ve given ultimate a go and found that the car does not pick up as quickly or as cleanly as with optimax, so its optimax for me also localy optimax is cheaper.

I have always used the BP stuff, mainly cos there isnt any blumin Shell stations for MILES but i have 3 BP one a reasonable distance.

I have once tryed optimax while away, didnt feel all that much difference tbh.

BP Ultimate gives me det at 4000 rpm, Optimax doesn't; though I use Ultimate as BP is next to me, of course I add a touch of NF Race

All, your engine will notice the difference, but if you can feel the difference in 1 RON then i'd be impressed Remember, takes the ECU a bit of time to adjust to any higher grade fuel...
