Hello all,

Just bought a my99 dbm and have a couple of questions you can help me with.

1. When turning the ignition on what lights come on as i dont seem to have any warning lights come on, on the left hand side.

2. Do all imprezas run lumpy on idle, mine about 600rpm

ABS, check engine, battery, brake, oil
as for the lumpy idle, what kinda air filter is on it ???
Stick to the original filter, and probably your MAF sensor is almost gone, this is a very sensitive item on your 99scoob..
Is it a tuned car, or original...
Be more specific...

Hello Newbie

Your airbag light should also illuminate then go off, as with the ABS. This is the case on my MY00 so should apply to yours.

Car is all standard.
What about fuel light, i had little petrol in and no light.
How much are the MAF sensors?

Paul your probably right about posting under a better name.

Almost gone? I thought they just went with the accompanying engine check light coming on.

If the car is standard then the filter would not have been changed.

Try describing what you mean by lumpy... you might also want to try asking, with a better title, in General Technical rather than this forum.

Not a new name just better thread title sometimes helps. Giving info like what year car etc helps get answers too People on here are very helpful if you ask questions in the right way.
