Don't know what I did
But basicaly it was to say, lets forget about all the..
Bad: engine blow ups, car hijackings.
Anoying: not allowed on track for noisy exhaust, dealer thrashed my car.
Wallet bashing: you know, general runnig costs, more mods! more mods!! and remember why we've got a Scooby, and use Scoobynet.
Highlights of this year for me.
1. Part of the convoy at Nick Wild's funeral
2. A blast along the Military rd. I.O.W. trip Sept02, a big thanks to Dyney for organising the weekend
3. David's D.I.Y. fmic thread
Merry Christmas, and New year.
Roy and Steph Kunz

For me, the 2 events that stick out are.
i) The first time I went to Kames. I met everybody for the 1st time, and gave the car a good tanking on the track
ii) Muppet camp in the lake district Such a great weekend! Good weather, good driving, great weekend as a whole

oooh, higlights?
Well, for the car, new wheels, new brakes, new clutch, new exhaust, new ECU remap thingy, new dump valve.
As for highlights for me? well, lets see.
Sharking! heheheh, well, 2002 was The year of the shark
You know what!
Muppet BBQs! Made some really good friends from the bbqs
Southend Meet, ditto, made loads of friends from there too.
Muppet Camping - well, what more can be said!
IOW - awesome trip, mil. road is just brilliant!
Alton Towers - great laff, great people
All in all, made lots of new and great friends. Hello and thanks to all of you! you know who you are!
However all of the above pale into insignificance in regards to terms of highlights to one particular thing, and a few of you may know what I mean! All I will say is I'm very happy
Roll on 2003!

Nick Wild's Memorial Banger race/Rich Wild's tribute to his brother.
The effort and sheer bloody mindness of Banshi in getting together a bunch of cars, preparing them to race, organising the race, getting the cars to Belle Vue on a big Banger race night and leting a bunch of complete headcases give them a good thrashing. It was suposed to be a non contact quick few laps, like hell it was.
The thread includes a video of the race, it's very funny.

That's what scoobynet is all about, having a laugh and getting people together in all sorts of wierd and wonderful locations.
Many many more things during the year, way too many to list, but that night and the tribute Rich gave to his brother stood out as something special to me.

Here here!
Other less moving highlights:
Muppet Camping Trip, especially the hilarious recces with 'chelle & her 'muppet moments'
Night before the Staffs Treasure Hunt, despite still doing the questions at work at 8pm!
Wales Camping Trip 4, maybe not a patch on 3 but still good fun
Actually getting to the Broad Street bash, despite leaving Cumbria 2 hours after it all started
Pages 7-10 of the 'Women Appreciation Thread' before it all went pear shaped

555Markus: Yep I.O.W. was tops, your exhaust somehow i don't think you'll pass the noise regs at Bedford
Little Miss WRX: Thanks for organising the convoy to Nicks funeral, and keeping me updated of directions, speed traps and so on, after i splashed and dashed, and fell behind the convoy.
Markus: Hilarious writing on your car at I.O.W. you should wash it more often you got your E.C.U. remap from David? any good??
Cheers, Roy.

Highlights for me this year..
Buying my scoob
Finding scoobynet
Getting my first wave in the scoob
Driving my newborn daugher home from the hospital in a scoob
Being taught to swear properly at the last Yorkshire meet
Finally getting my scoob into reasonable running order
Trading the Scoob in for a Nissan
An enjoyable (though brief) scooby year for me

Scoobynet highlights..........
The Trip to Portmerrion was a good day out liked the drive more than the place, but met a few good people there.
Chaz introduced me to a loverly housing estate in Deeside, along with about 12 other cars
The day out at Donnington was a good drive out too.
I was privelaged to attend Nicks send off which was a leveller......
Ive been on loads of local meets in Warrington with people Ive meet through Scooby-net. Ian,Nick,Kes,Frank,Russel,Neil,Graham,Andy,Pete,Da nny and others Ive forgotten
Oh and being taken around Outon park in Chris,s(Mellows)Cossie, that made me realise that Cossies, can and will keep up with Porche RSR'S,even though I wont get in with him again Ive been there and done it.
Later Yoza
