Tonight I have to park my car in an underground hotel car park.
Going from memory the car park ramps go down at an angle between 35-45 degrees (smooth at the bottom) with a bend at the end.
Obviously I have been there before but on Monday I had a front lip spoiler added and now I am concerned that I am about to smash it off.
If anyone has any helpful suggestions on how to get into the car park safetly I would greatly appreciate it.
The car an spoiler are below (sorry about Graham waving in the background but it is the most side on shot I have):

Hmmm so if they are seeing me in they can watch me scrap out... this is the one thing I want to avoid?
Anyone got any suggestions apart "wait for a crunch"?
Anyone got any suggestions apart "wait for a crunch"?

Depending on how wide the ramp and area is, try going at a angle (30-45 degrees is best, if there's room), ie one side/corner onto the ramp and then going slowly. Works for me in the p1, in city masterpark car parks.

Jawa - Not at all () I was just showing the lip was lower and stuck out further than the bumper did originally.
Mak - Not married!
Everyone else - Thanks for the suggestions (apart from wait for the crunch ).
Does anyone think that putting a couple of bits of wood under the tyres just before the end of the ramp would help?

Andy - That lip spoiler is never coming off, it is a tight fit to start with then it has been bonded and bolted into place!

Sorry I didn't mean to sound harsh. I have only had it two days so I want to avoid damaging it for a while longer.
Saying that there is a chip already were a coke can got spat up off the roadand hit me! Not bi and a little touch up paint should fix it.

Enter at high speed which should keep the car as flat as possible...and land on all 4 wheels.
Just remember to brake very hard.
Oh, and forget about getting out.

Careful of the CORNERS
Poor bloke, never gets anything easy presented to him
Fab looking car but about as practical as an ashtray on a motorbike
As a sensible suggestion, could you park it somewhere else in the hotel grounds? Near the kitchen bins or somewhere
Sorry dude, couldn't resist
Top looking motor now by the way

"Does anyone think that putting a couple of bits of wood under the tyres just before the end of the ramp would help?"
Two short bits wont work.Your front wheels will have dropped over before your rears have leveled out.Only way with wood is a couple of lengths of scaffold board, the longer the better.I have used this method to get up mates block paved slope to garage in P1.
Sourcing them on site could be a problem .Room service?
Good luck Mark.
