Try and get the respray done after the mechanical work. That would be my advice.

Not sure about the turbo but I would have thought it would be the sc42.

I think I misread it. I thought you were getting the sc38 just realised you already have it. People go down the meth route to get more but personally I'm not a fan.

Have you spoken to Craig Belworth or one of the other turbo tuners to see if there are any new wheels they can add or modifications they can do to it. I know it doesn't answer your question but something to look at.

I think from memory sc38 would range between 350 too 400bhp. I wouldn't be pushing much more then what you already have on stock internals as it will only be a matter of time till you need a rebuild given the cars age and use

True I was just curious to what's everyone got out of them like I wouldn't mind the 400 mark in the long run that's the one thing we will be saving after the car is back from underneath work and respray

its a 2.0 forged by scoobyclinic, rcm cone filter, fmic, syvecs running mafless, 3" exhaust and down pipe, theres other bits and bobs but nothing crazy mod wise

its one of the original sc36 turbos as well, made 373bhp pretty much 10 years ago and then 380bhp around 2 years back, both on scooby clinics dyno

Excuse me, just realised the title is sc38.. my post was based on the SC36+

did they not do away with the sc38 in favour of a bigger model? Or was that the sc36 😂

Haha no worries they do a Sc42 but I'm at 11k this year so don't want to spend 2k more atm I'm curious what I could get out of this 38 as maxed out on injectors on the last map only looking for around 400
