£60 to fill her up!!
First time it has cost me that .... £1:40 a Litre - £6:36 a Gallon!! 10 Gallon Tank.
And the computer onboard is telling me that I can expect to do the same again in 550 miles - when that has all gone ........... this is getting SILLY!!

We get it, you don't want to be a part of the Impreza community and love your non Subaru diesel - why bother coming here?

Just thinking out loud .... I do very few miles (so, a Diesel doesn't save me loads of money) but, in 10 months I have done 5500 miles - that's about 100 Gallons - £636.
My old Impreza would have swallowed another £636 worth in that time ..... in 12 months the saving in fuel alone will be £764.
Then the Tax is due at the end of May 2011 - that will sting me for £115 .... £345 less than the Impreza STi I was considering buying would have cost - more than £1,000 better off over the year on just fuel and tax .. I've lost less on depreciation too.
You Subaru fans are loyal beyond belief - I thought I was their greatest fan, not so - I take my hat off to you all for sticking with it!!

I put twenty litres of fuel in it and the trip computer reckoned id get 325miles out of that!!
I feel guilty going above 50 in it.
Cant wait till scoobies fixed though

Iv been through a tank and a half since thursday night when i baught it. I have spent most of the long weekend in my car and had a grin on my face all the time not many cars would do that. My petrol consumption should slow down a little now.

Filled up the Discovery last night - the pump cut out at £100, went in to pay then went back out and got another £17 in. I've started working at home 1 day a week to mitigate the extra £.
