I wonder how long it will be before someone cracks 300MPH in a road production car.
I appreciate that its going to need massive horse power due to the increase in wind resistance but surely it must be on some car makers list of goals

The limits continue to be pushed.
The Veyron super sport is astonishing, but as shown above there is always someone else with their eyes on the prize. No matter how quick you are theres always something quicker around the corner waiting for their own 15 minutes of fame, always.
I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of 2010 the Supersport's record hasn't already been beaten.
