anyone had or own one of these? im thinking of getting one in place of the scoob

a mate had a 182, I really liked it interior was very nice and performance wasnt bad, he liked it as well until he swerved to *allegedly* avoid a fox Cant comment on the 197 but I imagine it would be similar to the 182. Best bet though as always is to test drive a few

my brother has a white 197,lovely looking car,handles really well and is a nice car to drive.there not the fastest of cars but its nippy enough if you give it some beans.i have just bought the 182 as a second car and i love it.

i really like the looks of the 197 and would love a white one but they seem to be dearer than every other colour..im concidering a crystal grey one. i dont want to sell my bugeye and be dissapointed with the 197 tho.. perhaps i should find one at a dealers and test drive it

Watch out for the fuel consumption on the early models. Very short gearing murdered the fuel economy and made it very buzzy on the motorways. I remember seeing that they only average 25-27 mpg, an improvement on most Impreza's but poor for a supermini, even if its got 197hp.
