Default Terrific M5 article

Bit of touring and some head to head with competitors and exotics, a really good write up and loads of pics.

About 10-12mpg when spanking it. My local Shell garage think I've got a leaky tank!

I got 10mpg two weeks ago after three laps of the 'ring, but 19-20mpg for a round trip to Germany, doing some crazy speeds on the derestricted Autobahn, and bouncing off the speed limiter where possible (which is incidentally at an indicated 169mph).

Not great, but the low-teens mpgs are not representative of everyday driving.

My long term average is 22+mpg.

Go into the units part of the Idrive (under the setup bit - i.e. in the main i-drive menu when you push the controller down rather than up/down/l/r)
