They are a little over-priced IMHO and as a pure drivers car not that great but they are nice a rare, fairly quick, look quite good and I would imagine grab a lot of positive attention. If you can afford it and want it then go for it

I've driven both models of V6 Clio on numerous occasions, the first one was dissapointing, the 2nd one (that you're looking at) is better but still not great...
Not that quick, not that good to drive, pretty bad on fuel, but on the other hand they look good, sound amazing, attract a lot of looks, so it's more of a posers car than a drivers car, will suit some but not others.
The Clio Cup at half the price is almost as quick, more fun to drive, cheaper to run, etc... which is why I got one of them at the time.
Actually had a run in with a blue V6 255 the other night in my 200SX and he didn't stand a chance!

There's a Black Mk2 around Darlington, and it does look very nice. I wouldn't mind a go of one, but don't think I'd like to own one.
Apparently the Mk1's are a absolute bitch to drive fast, and easily put through a hedge backward. The Mk2 addressed some of the handling problems, but it's still a car that requires both respect and skill to get the best out of it.
A very rare car, and you never really see many about. Probably something to do with it being Waaaaayyyyy overpriced from new. Evo magazine put the 172 cup and 182 against the V6. The 182 was faster and better to drive. It also handled a Million times better too.
If it's a car you really want, then go for it. Mk2 in Black would be my recommendation.

They look fantastic - no question. Also they are hand built which makes it more special than the rest of the range. I like the idea of owning one, despite costs or relative performance. If you are in a position to buy one - do it. I doubt you will experience the same thing twice!
