Nope, I used my spared wheels which I put some R rated tyres on.

It's like driving on a carpet with velcro tyres on, no squeel just loads and loads of grip!

doesnt matter how good/sensible you are, you can still end up with a bad smash at the ring due to others stupidity, coming accross a crash after a blind corner, mechanical failure blah blah, it's not worth the risk IMHO.

Sorry to lecture.

Nice picture though Dave!

I do have a problem getting in cars with a helmet on, the Impreza was the only car I have owned that I could wear a helmet without hitting the roof.

It's the problem when you have a long back and a gideon neck I guess!

Wink

Dave, I take it that your car doesn't go fast enough to run out of the 'R' rated-ness?

PS nice pics

I am certainly getting through the fronts quickly enough!

I can't swap tyres over for equal wear like you 4WD boys.

Best thing I have ever bought for any car, worth 15 secs a lap around the ring, and equal to 100bhp at Donington I reckon!
