Anyone driven a Clio V6
#2
Had a look at one in my local showroom and the body kit looked like it had been fitted by a five year old .....
I had two 172's and fancied an upgrade. They were selling it cheap and when i went to look at it i realised why. Plastic pig and only an ex demo car with 1000 miles on the clock
Still got one of the 172's though.

Agree with Gary.
I looked at one a bit back and the quality of the stick on extras was terrible.
It looked uneven like a cheap Halfords body kit. And this was their demonstrator car.
Nice inside though.

Best thing to do is have a look for a good one as they can't surely have all been made this badly?
Don't pay top whack for one, though. They had big trouble shifting them. Which must point to it not being much better than the 172.

not driven one but i went to have a look at one and the quality of the body kit looked more like an aftermarkt kit than something from the factory. If you looked along the edges you could see indentations etc along them.
Saying that though they do look the absolute nuts and V6 RWD in a clio has got to be fun.
I think the new ones were being used as pace cars at thruxton on monday for the clio trophy challenge. Very nice looking in a deep red

They aint that impressive...
My mate actually sold his mk1 V6 and got a Cup instead, as he gets the same performance, better handling, more MPG, looks less like a poser and it costs 1/2 the price!
