Hmmmmm - wonder how they came to that conclusion From a females point of view here's my thoughts.
Volkswagen Golf - yes, wouldn't hesitate as a 2nd car
Renault Clio - you must be joking!
MG TF - no way!
Audi TT - no thanks, too ugly
Jaguar XKR Convertible - too big
MINI - Mini Cooper only
Volkswagen Beetle - yuk
Mazda MX-5 - hmmm - maybe
BMW Z3 - lacking in power
Ford Fiesta - hahaha wouldn't even consider one

I can vouch for Clio !
Mrs Tosser is on her second, despite my efforts to get her to buy something else.
In fairness to her the old one (bought new) gave her no problems in three years and 28,000 miles.

To add on to Lynne's comments.....
Volkswagen Golf - yes, wouldn't hesitate as a 2nd car (agree to a point it wouldn't be my first choice of 2nd car)
Renault Clio - you must be joking! (agree)
MG TF - no way! (agree)
Audi TT - no thanks, too ugly (agree)
Jaguar XKR Convertible - not my style, prefer an Aston Martin.
MINI - nope, I fecking hate Mini's.
Volkswagen Beetle - only the old one. New one looks like a pumped up Audi TT!
Mazda MX-5 - no way.
BMW Z3 - lacking in power (agree) a Z8 I would have (preferably with Pierce Brosnan in the passenger seat )
Ford Fiesta - hahaha wouldn't even consider one (agree - have had one, wouldn't have one again).
Paul, yep the Puma is a girly car and I like it having owned one a couple of years ago. (One of the only girly cars I like ).

"Z3 = not enough power- maybe a Z8."
These "women" probably never driven anything more "sporty" than a Corsa SXi's or Renault Clio's with "air in-duck-ion ket."
And a 3.0 litre Z3 can *really* smoke your bloke's 132HP RS-Turbo, no matter how much he bullies you girls into thinking it cant.
