I hate fences!!
After this wind/storm some of my fences have blown down ......
Now, the lady over the back has seen me today and wants me to replace the fence ... I suggested that we go halves as we both benefit from it and she said it's mine and I fix it.
The reason it fell over is because she has big shrubs grown all over the top of the fence.
I'm thinking of planting some Leylandii's and/or a simple wire fence .... she wants a fence more than I care about having.
The deeds say I maintain a boundary ..... doesn't say how I do that. It's going to cheese her right off, so much so that she got her neighbour to speak to me today .....
I assume that I can do what I want with 'my' boundary?

You'd be better off asking on Pistonheads, where, without a doubt, you will be told to hammer frozen sausages in to her lawn.

Ha been there. Left the fences on the bottom of our garden fall to pieces after the neighbour behind started leaning crap against them.
Looks terrible... If It were not for the nice line of shrubs I have growing in front of them

With regards to the post and presuming that it is a genuine issue, Id plant the shrubs. Normally Id say dont, but if the fence collapsed as a result of her action/inaction and then she has acted as described, then **** her.
