F_ck me. I remember that poor lad Philip Olds I think, the copper who was shot in the back and paralysed. He shot himself in the head because he couldn't bear the thought of "spending the rest of my life in this pram". She should be sectioned - nutter.

Wasn't having a go at you at all..... the FFS was at this person and the fact that The Sun and its ilk give them column inches that just encourages them!

I have just had back surgery and have been left with a numb left foot and a lot of numbness in my leg too. Doctors say that I should have sensation returning in months, maybe longer. Nerves regenerate at a rate of a millimetre a day and my legs are bloody long! Furthermore complete recovery is unlikely as the accompanying atrophy of muscle and debilitation means I won't be back to full normality. Yet here's this silly cow wanting deliberate paralysis. The world really has gone mad!
Whilst in hospital I met a bloke who'd suffered a spinal stroke and was left paralysed from the waist down. He had phenomenal mental strength and was adamant he would walk again at some point.

Is it just me or do they make a new condition up for every whackjob that "thinks" they suffer from something? Where will it end.

Classic example of how the rich can manipulate the lower middle class scum rag buyers , for goodness sake how could she not afford it with name like that....

On the other hand I could do it for less than half the price

She was in a magazine a few weeks ago.

It's ridiculous!! What a bloody insult to the unfortunate people who have to live with being paralysed though no choice.

They do seem to just keep inventing all these 'disorders' and its just pathetic. By doing that they enable people to keep behaving in the same way 'because its an illness' or whatever.
There has to be a point where you have to just make people get their act together and stop being a freak. Give her therapy for the obviously deep emotional issues she has going on, not a £16k surgery to allow this 'disorder' to keep itself going.

But then, should we really judge something we don't really understand?
I do things to that physically damage my body, so the same could be said about me to a degree?
