Cat digging up flowerbeds
We've only got the two , before now we've had that solid plastic netting wedged down with stones ,to stop it crapping there and unearthing bulbs)
Is there another way.???
We can't shot it since fairly sure it's next doors, ( they've recently moved back in after letting it for a time and they're reasonable people)

We made a poo box for ours from some rough sawn timber (no base, just edges to contain the soil), and filled it with soft soil and sand. Situated down the end of the garden, by the shed. Saves her going in neighbours' gardens (not that she did anyway), and ours, and it's easy to clean out.

Theres a garlic type powder you can sprinkle over flower beds,
stinks of garlic for a few days, but once the cats come near, they dont back
we did our front bed, and they havnt been back
Jeyes fluid is supposed to be good too

Cats have very sensitive smell, best to put something like pepper, citrus fruits or even something like creosote down.
A bird scarer would also work wonders but might cheese off your neighbours!

There's loads of ideas about but few work.
Never found orange/lemon peel any good myself If the cat will come to you, coax it close then soak it! I have used the hose in the past and it seems to work if you catch them right Or I use my bb gun. I have also limited the areas where cats can land in the garden from jumping over the fences.
We have a small veggie patch and around the edges we have onions as they don't like the smell. This seems to be working pretty well

We've had similar issues with cats since we moved into our house 18 months ago - they go right in the middle of the grass! I've tried quite a few things, most of which are mentioned above, with any successes being short lived.
The thing that seems to have kept them at bay longest is a motion sensor which lets out a high pitched squeal if anything crosses its path, but I have to keep moving it around the garden otherwise the cats seem to get used to it. It hasn't stopped them entirely, but it's reduced the frequency of their visits a bit. Cost about £15 from Amazon IIRC.
