That's what you call a 'no news' news story.

Anyone else see the programme: "Is our weather getting worse?"

It was one of the worst things I've ever seen: loads of repeats of the SAME flood footage, plus a few BBC types spouting crap.

Whereas those who do believe the weather really is becoming more extreme and unpredictable saw it as a neat compilation of what we know is already happening. I really do wish that green taxation didn't exist so that more people could prevent themselves from denying what's actually going on out there.

I've been over in southern Ireland or the last couple of weeks, it's been non stop here.. Mind you, it's usually raining here but it's been particularly bad.

Last year was not a good year for working outside, lost count of the amount of times I'd spent the day soaked through.

What with the hose pipe ban last year, 2012 has to be the wettest drought ever.

So using the Met Office completely clueless rule (cf Barbecue summer, mild winter two winters ago etc), it'll be a brilliant summer with drought. Sweet

There was a good looking Asian girl in a red dress on Sky all Christmas telling me it was raining.

Lovely to look at, but talk about earning money for old rope!!!

Hey, no need to get worried, because if we build some windmills, we'll be able to stop the weather changing.
In fact, we should build more of them on the hills near where I live which were formed during the last ice a...g.....e.............ah......errrrrr........mov e along, nothing to see here. Still, we'll get taxed to death for something we can do sweet f.a about.

Maybe tidy looking girls are the source of global warming? Don't tell the government, otherwise they'll start taxing fit chicks.

So how come the Met Office, with their gazillion-pound super-computers, took over two days to add up the contents of the last few rain gauges?

It is not like they were trying to fiddle the figures is it?

increasing in comparison to what exactly, 5 decades of study?

or hundreds of millions of years of weather averaging - do people think the world and weather patterns shift overnihght, or even in a century or even a million hyears?

doesnt matter- we better slap a tax on anything remotely linked to it - way to go!
