A cat playland is what you need, good fun for the cat and keeps them from scratching things they shouldn't into the bargain.

Well, she'll need something to carry it in, so a cat carrier?

A jar of strong horseradish, it can be quite difficult to get down otherwise.

More seriously though, you could offer to pay for her to get it micro-chipped, and/or get her a nice collar for it with an engraved name-tag (with her surname, post-code and mobile number, not the cat's).

Toys and gadgets can be very hit and miss with a lot of cats, so I'm always a bit wary of splurging too much on them. Stick an empty shoe-box in front of them and it'll normally keep them amused for hours though, likewise any kind of small lightweight ball (mine likes practise golf ***** best).
