My neice, 22 just bought her first house and a cat. Looking for something for her birthday, cat related?

A cat playland is what you need, good fun for the cat and keeps them from scratching things they shouldn't into the bargain.

best thing you can buy (depending how big her house is) is a cat tree

have a look on here for ideas

Well, she'll need something to carry it in, so a cat carrier?

+1 I would also look at something to get rid of odours - if it's gonna turd in the house

A cat?

Paben 27 December 2012 05:16 PM

A hamster and no cage :thumb:

A jar of strong horseradish, it can be quite difficult to get down otherwise. ;)

More seriously though, you could offer to pay for her to get it micro-chipped, and/or get her a nice collar for it with an engraved name-tag (with her surname, post-code and mobile number, not the cat's).

Toys and gadgets can be very hit and miss with a lot of cats, so I'm always a bit wary of splurging too much on them. Stick an empty shoe-box in front of them and it'll normally keep them amused for hours though, likewise any kind of small lightweight ball (mine likes practise golf balls best).

A membership to a dating website may help. :D

A bag and directions to the nearest river?

A moronic Apple Mac fanboy as a scratching post? A great present! :thumb:
