Stargazer, Bird Watchers & Voyeurs
Recommend me a telescope.
Requirements:
Easy to use/setup
Ideal for stargazing, nature watching, plane spotting
Robust enough for a 6 year old, quality enough for dad to use
Budget £100 ish
Any ideas, recommendation?
Thanks

Stargazing and nature/birdwatching require different things from a telescope, so I'm not sure you are going to find one which does everything well. With astronomy, you need a large objective lens to get as much light as possible, and they usually don't bother re-inverting the image, so it will be upside down (not normally an issue when looking at starts/moon/planets, and the optics need means less light to the eye). For nature/bird watching, there's normally plenty of light so magnification is usually the thing to go for.
