Child Isa launch today are they worth it?
We have just had our first child and would like to set up a savings account which us and our family can pay into regular.
There are some many on the market which way should i be looking normal bank account / savings or a isa?
Any advice would be great.
Thanks

In the same boat.
Gonna do the ISA because it's got a higher interest rate than the other long term schemes.
This ISA cop out in no way makes up for losing the £250 health in pregnancy grant or £250 child trust fund voucher & everything else they stopped though.
I heard that if you had your child last year your £60 a week better off than we are now, because off all the cut backs.
God damn con-dems, that money would have been handy

You come and tell me whether to buy or sell in this market! Report in the FT yesterday that the volatility index was the best indicator of coronary heart failure amongst traders. These past few months have been a frustrating enforced "holiday"

Nice place. Had a meal in the Carved Angel when it was still open, got some weird marmalade stuff with halibut, not sure it worked very well. Kingswear is where i spent August 1999 for the solar eclipse standing next to the VSOE - happy days

Tel,
We went to the Carved Angel when JBR was there, great food and nice and informal as well, and is now called Angelique. There are loads of good places to eat down here now especially if you like fish obviously.
We too watched the eclipse down here but we were on Berry Head. Great time though.
