Default tetnus

bitten by my mates dog yesterday

its a yard dog, and can be agressive, big monster of a thing, would ripped me to bits if it had the chance, but luckily im hard as fck and the dog sh*t iself after i just looked at it (kindof) so its all good, lol

broke the skin as per pic - so should i get a tetnus? gave it a good clean with sterile wipes at the time

and if so can i just pick up a made up injection from my docs and administer myself, instead of waiting for apointment, fcking around at docs or hospitals.

Well appart form the fact it sounds like a dangerous dog and should be destroyed if its biting people, tenus is the least of your worries. Dogs mouths are one of the most dirty places known, filled with all kinds of nasty bacteria. You will need acourse of antibiotics

If you go to the doctors they May give you a tetanus shot if you had your last jab more than 5 years ago.

Dog bites as a rule seldom go septic.

Worst i have a scratch thread ever >MAN THE **** UP <Tetanus lasts for 10 years.

I would seek the owner of the dog and make sure he/she gets said mutt to the vets to make sure it is OK.

As above if you have had a tetanus jab in the last ten years then you should be okay. If not get yourself to the doctors/hospital just to be safe.

I like the fact you can self administer.

The smart thing to have done, to avoid queuing at the doctor's or hospital, would have been to pop down to A&E in the evening mid-week, their least busy time in most places. Otherwise a weekend afternoon shouldn't be too bad.

Very unwise not to get the doctor to check it all out.

Tetanus is a very unpleasant disease.

Rabies is far worse - Its terminal.
Where did the dog come from ? I would want 100% ASSURANCE it was born and bred in the UK.
With rabies once symptoms are detected -its too late , you are history.
Get to the doctors and get the lot !
Don't **** about with this

well actually the dog tasted my blood, then the massive amounts of naturally occuring male hormaone, or steroids

then it sh*t itself incase it battered its wife to death, in a fit of roid rage, then suffered massive bone and heart growth and as a result died of a massive heart attack, poor thing.

only just before then did it realise my blood was infact egg yolk , from the 200 eggs i ate per week - this in itself caused a massive rise in ldl cholesterol in the dog, reduction in artey thickness, thus contributing to the heart attack.

it didnt satnd a chance
