micro sims
Hi All
going to get my ipad 2 on 23rd Sept & going to get the 3g version, now i have been looking at the micro sims & not having much luck for what i'm after can anyone help!? I am wanting a pay as you go style where i would purchase an 'X' amount of gb i.e 10gb but instead of it running out in 30 or 90 days, i just want to be able to top it up as & when i want. I use alot of wifi rather than 3g plus have the 3g on my iphone so do not really want a contract just to use it a little.
Any ideas if its possible or is 'Three' the best deal where i buy 10gb & it lasts 90 days or buy 1gb & it lasts 30 days or just get the 1gb per month for £7.50 & its only a rolling 1 month contract so i can cancel if wanted.
Cheers

I just bought an Ipad but went for the wifi only, if I need to use it out of wifi range I can tether it to the Iphone by bluetooth and use the phone as a personal hotspot. The money saved by not getting the 3G option I put towards additional memory for the Ipad. Job done.

hhhhmmmmm, just been looking on fleabay & noticed that you *could buy* if im working this out right a normal simcard & buy a cutter to make it a microsim or buy a cut down one & then i can use any sim on a pay as you go & cut it down if i bought the cutter & top up when i like. Does that work!? there are people on there selling giffgaff sims that have been cut down to micro sims to use in iphones & ipads, so it must work - right!?

Make sure that you are running the latest operating system update on both the iphone and ipad and make sure that your data service provider will allow it. I'm on an unlimited data plan through vodaphone and it works fine.
