With the latest range of phones announced , nothing really appeals in functionality over my Note 3. They have slightly better screens no expandable memory or decent battery performance, god my kids aren't even interested in the new iphones over last year's.

What I want is
5.5-5.7" screen
1080p or 2k, maybe scalable when needing 2k and 1080p for battery saving.
4000mah battery
Wireless charging
32gb memory and Micro SD upto 256 gb
Twin sims (bit of a dream with also sd card)
Finger print, only because it looks like mobile payments will actually take off this time
Decent camera with OIS. , pretty much all of them have this now
Front speakers

Oh and easy root method

If any manufacturer s are watching please build a phone with these specs and have the new snapdragon 820 and I will buy

 

Just got a new galaxy S6, seems pretty good so far.

tbh despite what apple, samsung, sony etc all claim, most phones are all much of a muchness nowadays and it really depends on which brand of operating system you prefer.

I'm pretty excited about the new nexus phones. Hopefully will come out this year.
Also i am getting pretty tempted by these guys. Looks like a phone meade for people who like control over their apps.

The Wiley is not a bad little phone with some decent specs for only£199 I will review once there is few out there being used

 

Dual sim comes out soon, just wish it had a finger scanner as well, but very good specs

 

Just get a Note 4 as it will be a cheap upgrade and it is a better phone than the 3.

 

Sure there's a note 4 dual sim, perhaps a korean edition other than that it fits all of your requirements.

Only thing with buying overseas editions, it's best to check if the frequencies are the same or at least compatible, otherwise it might hamper 4g reception.

Just got myself a s6 edge+,more than happy and it's screen is amazing aswell as it's camera

 

I have heard the s6 camera is fantastic quality

 

Iirc the camera on the note 4 is the same, the s6 had it's firmware tweaked for the improvements.
